Poor workmanship from a company with zero trade employees on their books, a project manager who is an over aggressive electrician with no customer service and a business model which works by subcontracting ALL the work and responsibility. How's that for professionalism, ownership and duty of care to its clients!

A bowed wall extension completely out of specification

I wanted to start this blog with the intention to share my own experiences with this person and to gauge an idea of the chaos and damage that has been caused across the North of England (and who knows maybe further afield) by Makain build & Makain Limited (now insolvent). Gervais and his companies Makain are becoming notorious for leaving a devastating trail of unfinished projects around the North East. He is literally emptying family life savings and destroying lives. All for his own personal financial gain. I will share my own experience to make others aware.

No consistency and shoddy laying to say the very least. I will continue my story in a later blog, I have also several accounts coming from different families who have all had the save negative interaction with Makain and Gervais.

My home has been a wreck since May 2023, thankfully I have excellent neighbours who have supported me, put up with the noise, mess and inconvenience of storing my personal items in their homes and garages while this company continues to mess me around.
