This is a view from my neighbours garden showing clearly the deflection in the roof on the garage extension. The builder was specifically instructed by the Building Inspector not to proceed with the build until the structural calculations were provided and agreed. Clearly this was a huge error. Makain Build came to the rescue with a re quotation to repair the roof that they failed to build correctly at a cost of 16 thousand pounds.

The timber they used was 5x2 and joined. See later image.
